I want Keanu Reeves in my zombie apocalypse group. Here’s a video of him training for the movie.

Also John Wick Chapter 4: Somebody stole my pen.

I don’t watch trailers in general. They spoiler way too much in my opinion. So whatever is going on in there might be good, yet I have to be the devil’s advocate (no pun intended) here:

I think the movie John Wick and the title character were cool because everything about those came out of nowhere. The character and the movie were very simple and had very straightforward goals they wanted to achieve. Thus the character and the world of this movie are a bit mysterious simply because it wasn’t necessary to know more. It was a well executed and enjoyable no bs revenge flick. And liked every bit about it.
But to be quite honest: I don’t want to know more about the universe and the character is frankly not interesting enough to explore him any further. He was a badass killer with a newfound moral code and peace of mind because of the love of a woman. And it was taken away from him. So famously “he is back”! But we know this by now. Sequels/Prequels or whatever aren’t necessary - for me!

Obviously I really want the movie to succed and surprise me like the first flick, but just like with the Matrix II&III I’m afraid they just overdo the story and thus ruin all the mystery.
